WHY KAWARAU BRIDGE BUNGY:
This is the 'World Home of Bungy Jumping'! In November 1988, Bungy pioneers AJ Hackett and Henry van Asch jumped into the World spotlight by launching the World's first commercially operated Bungy Jumping Site, off the historic Kawarau Bridge. With over 26 years of operating experience we have become renowned as one of the most exhilarating things to do in Queenstown.
The Kawarau Bridge Bungy Site is not only home to the Kawarau Bridge Bungy, there is also our Bungy Retail Shop, The Kawarau Zipride and our scrumptious Cafe 88!
There is plenty of free parking available or catch one of 6 free buses out to site, bring your friends and family along for the ride too! Bookings required.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION:
Bookings Essential: Sorry we do NOT offer open dated bookings, however if you aren't certain of when you will be visiting us we do allow FREE date changes up to 48 hours prior to your original booking time so you still have flexibility to move your booking, cos' let's face it sometimes plans change.
Child Age: Min 10 yrs (Children 14 and under need to be accompanied by an adult)
Weight: Min 35kg - Max 235kg
Medical Considerations: Please inform our Bungy Crew if you have any of the following conditions (please note it does not necessarily prevent you from Bungy Jumping, Swinging or Zipriding): High or low blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy (excluding photosensitive epilepsy – see note below), broken or fractured bones/dislocations, fragile skin, neurological disorders, diabetes, asthma, prosthetics, panic/anxiety attacks or recent sprains/muscular injuries. If you are pregnant or have photosensitive epilepsy (PSE) unfortunately we are unable to allow you to jump or swing with us. There are no exceptions. Self-Drive option (allow 1.5 hours): Located on State Highway #6 (SH6) in the Gibbston Valley just 25mins North of Queenstown (in the direction of Cromwell). There is plenty of Free parking available. Open every day except Christmas Day: 9:30am till 4pm. Spectators are more than welcome, the Kawarau is free and there are plenty of viewing platforms
Free Transport option (allow 2.5 hours): Free transportation is available from 'The Station Building', corner of Shotover & Camp Streets in the centre of Queenstown, bookings are essential though. 6 Buses depart daily (except Christmas Day) at 8:40am, 10am, 11:20am, 12:40pm, 2pm and 3:20pm. You must check-in 30mins before departure.
We photograph and film every Bungy Jumper, so even if you are unsure if you want to purchase Photos or Video (P&V) before you jump, you are more than welcome to look at it after your Bungy and then decide if you want to purchase it.

There is a vast range of P&V options available, these vary from Bungy Site to Bungy Site, given the technology installed. Options available- printed Photos, DVD, Online Codes and USB key. Please talk with our friendly Bungy Crew when onsite, to find out the best option for your needs.
If you wish to take a camera out to the jump platform, or you wish to jump with a camera attached to you, it needs to be safely secured to your person to ensure it cannot be dropped. Jumping with a camera is entirely at your own risk and ONLY at the discretion of the Jump Operations Crew. The legal waiver you sign when checking in fully indemnifies AJ Hackett Bungy NZ of any loss or injury associated with you jumping with your camera.
