Day 1 : DARWIN – KAKADU
• Pick up at 7am from you nominated accommodation in Darwin. • We start our Kakadu tour by heading towards Kakadu to join a wildlife cruise on Corroborree Billabong. This is a great opportunity to get fantastic photos of the local wildlife. • After the cruise, we commence our drive toward Kakadu National Park. • Stop & enjoy a picnic lunch on the East Alligator River bank with the opportunity to spot some crocs and flying foxes! • Then on to the world famous Ubirr Rock in the north of the park. Ancient rock art and staggering 360º views over the Nardab floodplain and Arnhemland. • Tonight we camp at our exclusive safari camp at Garnamarr at the base of the escarpment and within the National Park. • Dinner tonight is a traditional Aussie BBQ • Fitness: 6km

Day 2 : Kakadu
• Early to rise for a big day of spectacular waterfalls and some great walks! • Hike to the top of the Arnhemland Escarpment at Twin Falls and enjoy fantastic views and swimming in pristine pools, avoiding the crowds. • Hike to Jim Jim Falls, a 1km walk to the plunge pool for a refreshing swim surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs. • From here we head to our camp near Litchfield • Fitness: 4 kms

Day 3 : Kakadu - Litchfield - Darwin
• Up early again to head to Litchfield National Park. • First stop is Wangi Falls for a swim in its beautiful natural plunge pool. • We then visit Tolmer Falls with its spectacular views over Litchfield National Park before making our way to relax at Buley Rockhole’s. Enjoy a picnic lunch and then head onto Florence falls for a cool swim. • On our way back to Darwin we get the opportunity to explore Giant Cathedral Termite and Magnetic Termite mounds • Return to Darwin approximately 5.30pm • Fitness: 2 kms

Day 4 : Mataranka Hot Springs, Edith Falls & Daly Waters
Departing Darwin at around 6am. You will enjoy experiences at Edith Falls and Mataranka Hot Springs. You then continue to Daly Waters where you will spend a relaxing night, enjoying the FREE pub meal before staying in shared dorm accommodation.

Day 5 : Devils Marbles & Alice Springs
Departing Daly Waters in the morning for the onward journey to Alice Springs. You will stop at Devils Marbles, later arriving in Alice Springs at around 6pm.

Day 6 : Alice Springs to Kata Tjuta & Uluru Sunset
Starting in Alice Springs, we continue on to the permanent campsite at Yulara for lunch and a Camel Ride before embarking to explore the 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. Here, we get up close to this ancient geological formation during an afternoon hike. The perfect end to a remarkable day is watching the Rock’s rich colours change against a blazing Red Centre sunset. Depending on your mood you can choose to sleep in a permanent 4 share safari tent (bunk beds) or in a swag (Aussie bedroll) under millions of outback stars. Optional upgrade to twin tents available at $75/person per tour – twin tent upgrade price includes sleeping bag and pillow.

Day 7 : Uluru to Kings Canyon
Enjoy a glorious sunrise with a walk around the base of Uluru. Deepen your understanding of the land and the Mala people during a walk with your tour guide. There’s an opportunity to purchase Aboriginal arts and crafts at the Cultural Centre before travelling to our exclusive campsite in Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon). You can choose tonight to sleep in a swag (Aussie bedroll) under millions of outback stars or in one of our permanent 4 share safari tents (bunk beds). Optional upgrade to twin tents available at $75/person per tour – twin tent upgrade price includes sleeping bag and pillow.

Day 8 : Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
Discover the Lost City and the Garden of Eden on a 6km hike in Kings Canyon. Admire and explore the towering walls and crevices of Watarrka National Park. The photo opportunities are endless in Kings Canyon so be sure to bring your camera. At the end of the trek it’s time to refuel with a bite to eat before making the journey back to the remote centre of Alice Springs. (B,L) Or if you choose to finish the tour in Ayers Rock, you will be transferred from Kings Canyon Resort to Ayers Rock Resort after lunch. Please note that this service must be requested at the time of booking, and will incur an additional charge of $130 per adult / $70 per child. The Camel Toe Run can be done in reverse.
