This is the best way to start your day and see Ho Chi Minh City! This full-day tour, beginning at 8 am and ending at 2.30pm, will start you off with a boat cruise along green rural areas, local neighborhoods and the impressive skyline at the city center. This unique speedboat tour starts from Tan Cang Pier, where visitors can see the traditional Vietnamese lifestyle on the right river bank and a more dynamic and modern lifestyle on the left. We will also pass the Saigon Pearl, one of the most luxury apartments in the urban area. Continuing downstream to Thanh Da canal, the boat goes under Kinh Bridge, where tourists can see the daily life of the locals.

The boat then reaches Binh Quoi Village (8 km far away from Saigon) where numerous thatched cottages in the countryside are found. Here, travelers can sit by the riverside and enjoy fresh coconut under the shade of coconut palms. This lush garden-like ground with lawns, coconut trees, creeks and thatched cottages give a glimpse into days gone by in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region. Soak up the slow-pace of this magical area before heading back to the city.

Another sightseeing stop the tour makes is at the War Remnant Museum, the most popular museum in Ho Chi Minh city, where there is a vast display from both the Indochina wars. In the courtyard, massive military vehicles are on exhibit as well as tiger cages, where the visitor can experience what it was to be a prisoner during wartimes. Afterward, we'll head to Chinatown Binh Tay market and Thien Hau temple before having lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, the tour will take you to the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in 1975, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the General Post Office and a lacquer workshop.
