Hike through lush forests and thousand year old limestone caves.  Relax on ‘picture post card’ white sandy beaches, get involved with the locals at their villages and enjoy singing along with the guitar around the campfire with some Kava – a drink the locals love.During the 8 days you will be relaxing on beautiful beaches while seeking adventure in this beautiful paradise destination! Join us for surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, yoga and more! You will even have the special opportunity of visiting a local village! Day 1 : Nadi
BULA and welcome to Fiji! Your group leader will be at the airport waiting for you, and to check you into our accommodation in Nadi. The rest of the day is yours to explore, relax poolside and to sink into the relaxed Fijian way of life. Later that night, we go for welcome dinner and drinks where you will meet the rest of your Wanderlands Fiji family. Later we have a traditional Fijian welcome, as we sit around the ceremonial Kava Bowl and try the local drink, Kava, from a hollowed out coconut shell.

Day 2 : Coral Coast
An early start today as we are heading south to the Coral Coast, where we are going to spend the next two days at the beautiful Beachouse Resort͛. As soon as we arrive we will get ready for the first activity of the day - an epic boat trip to explore Yanuca Island and enjoy some snorkelling, kayaking and a delicious beach BBQ! Back at our resort, we get the chance to do a sunset yoga class to find our zen in paradise. When nighttime comes, we sit round the bonfire with the locals for a few songs with the guitar.

Day 3 : Coral Coast
The Coral Coast of Fiji is a perfect place to learn and practice your paddle-boarding skills, in a calm and sheltered area. If you would prefer, you can team up and hop in a double kayak and share the fun of paddling around in the sea. After a delicious lunch, we then get our comfortable trainers on for a little bush trek to Novala Falls; this waterfall is sure to cool you off after the trek through the jungle! At night, we get another chance to see the incredible sunset and enjoy some drinks.

Day 4 : Yasawa Islands - Blue Lagoon
Yasawa Islands, here we go! Cruising ͞business class͟ with aircon, drinks and snacks available, while checking out some beautiful islands on the way to our destination and, if we͛re lucky, see some sea turtles or manta rays swimming around us as we travel. We check-in to our epic resort at lunchtime, and then it͛s a short walk to the restaurant for some delicious food. Once our bellies have been satisfied, it͛s time to head out for some kayaking, paddle-boarding or you can get yourself a sunbed to work on your tan.

Day 5 : Yasawa Islands - Blue Lagoon
Today we have the rare opportunity to gain an insight into Fijian living. Firstly, we visit some natural limestone caves and will get to explore and learn how they came to be. We also visit a local village and immerse ourselves in their culture. We will learn some traditional crafts and play football, or volleyball, with the children. We also interact with the elders of the village, who will talk about the day-to-day lives of the Fijians and teach us how they farm and harvest their food, there might be a chance to purchase some of their handmade crafts.

Day 6 : Yasawa Islands - Octopus Resort Waya Island
The exploring doesn’t stop as we head to Waya Island, which has some of the best snorkel points in the world! With over 1,000 species of fish and mammals in the surrounding waters you’ll soon see why. Once we arrive and get all checked in it's time for the sunset boat trip. We explore some exciting spots that only the locals know about. You will be relaxing with an ice cold drink in hand, floating around the crystal clear waters of Fiji, with a beautiful sunset backdrop. As if it couldn't get any better, back on dry land we will have a delicious dinner accompanied with traditional Kava and a string band playing some Fijian tunes for us! For after dinner entertainment you can try out crab racing!

Day 7 : Yasawa Island - Octopus Resort Waya Island
Rise and shine on island time with our second day on Waya Island, we will start it off with trying our craft skills by doing Voivoi weaving, which is a traditional Fijian weaving. You can also go and check out the craft market. Next it's time for snorkeling. The island has some of the best snorkel spots in the world, with over 1,000 species of fish and mammals in the surrounding waters. Once we are on dry land you can have some free time to chill or try your hand at Sulu tying which is the traditional Fijian clothing. This evening is our last one together as we enjoy a farewell dinner with a local dance and then we party in style with the rest of the groupies to celebrate having just had the best trip of your life!

Day 8 : Yasawa Islands
Time to say goodbye to your group and to swap those awesome pictures. We still have a few hours to take in the beautiful sights and have some time to have one last kayak or paddle in the sea before we catch the boat. For those of you who will continue your travels in Fiji, your group leader will be on hand to provide info on the best islands to visit and book your transport, and any other activities, such as scuba diving. For those who need to leave Fiji, your leader will be able to organise your transport to the main island to catch your flight.

 Departures are every 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month except December. Not running January and February.

 

** There are a mandatory meal plan at Blue Lagoon Resort ($119 FJD per day) and at Mantaray Island ($99 FJD per day). 

** Transport back to Nadi at the end of the tour is NOT included in the price.  You can take a boat ($190FJD) or sea plane ($380FJD).

** Please book departing flight after 10pm.
