Sailing in Style

Our aim is to make your sailing trip aboard Whitsunday Blue the highlight of your holidays. This late model catamaran is stable and offers great sailing.

She also delivers those holiday essentials that make a good holiday great, air-conditioning saloon, private DVD players, and a permanently shaded area  3 cabins have private ensuite, and 1 cabin has a share bathroom.

Visit world famous heritage listed Whitehaven Beach and snorkel turquoise waters over spectacular coral reefs, then return to sumptuous gourmet meals freshly prepared on board. Whitsunday Blue has certainly earned its reputation as the vessel designed to spoil its guests.

Day 1 : Day 1
Check in by latest 12:30pm, however if guests arrive in Airlie Beach earlier they are welcome to check-in. After check-in, guests are welcome to leave their luggage to take on board in our office, then have some time to explore Airlie Beach, grab a bite to each, enjoy a walk along the beach. (note: Luggage not being taken on-board can be stored with local luggage providors) Meet at marina at 2.40pm. Please note, guests with cars, paid parking is available at the marina, which is just a 1 to 2 minute walk to the meeting area. Depart the marina at 3:00pm and sail to overnight anchorage. Enjoy sunset nibbles and a drink. Dinner is served around 7.00pm.

Day 2 : Day 2
After breakfast, make way to Tongue Bay for a guided bush walk to the Hill Inlet Lookout. A spectacular lookout overlooking Whitehaven Beach. Back on board Whitsunday Blue enjoy lunch before heading around to Whitehaven Beach. Enjoy an hour at the beach before setting sail and heading north along the eastern side of Hook Island. Overnight anchor in one of the many bays on Hook Island.

Day 3 : Day 3
After breakfast enjoy snorkelling on the Fringing Coral Reefs which extend right from the edge of the islands. These reefs are teeming with marine life and the experience is memorable for the snorkelling novice through to seasoned snorkellers. Enjoy lunch, before sailing off to another anchorage for a second snorkel, swim or simply relax at the beach. This evening will be spent anchored in Blue Pearl Bay of Hayman Island or in the Langford Reef Area. Both locations offer spectacular sunset photo opportunities as the Whitsunday Blue is silhouetted against the sunset over the water.

Day 4 : Day 4
After breakfast enjoy a quick snorkel or swim, before setting sail and sail across the Whitsunday Passage arriving back to the marina at around 12:00pm. Services end, although guests may like to meet up tonight for a meal at a local restaurant.

Departs: Abel Point Marina, Airlie Beach Saturdays at 3pm.

Returns: Tuesday at 12pm
